How To Use Apple Cider Vinegar

In 400 B.C. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, treated his patients with amazing raw Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) because he recognized its powerful cleansing and healing qualities.

It’s a naturally occurring antibiotic and antiseptic that fights germs and bacteria – for a healthier, stronger, longer life.

It helps balance the body’s vital acid/alkaline balance.

Not all ACV are created equal. The best is the organic, raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar with the “mother,” available at most health stores.

I use Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. It is made from fresh, crushed apples which are than allowed to mature naturally in wooden barrels, as wood seems to “boost” the natural fermentation. It is smoother and so much healthier than other vinegars.

It is loaded with vitamins, minerals and rich in potassium.

Natural ACV should be a rich, brownish color and if held to the light you might see a tiny formation of “cobweb-like” substances called the miracle “mother”. Usually some “mother” shows at bottom of bottles as it ages more.

Miracle “mother”

When you smell natural ACV, there is a pungent odor and sometimes it’s so ripened it puckers your mouth and smarts your eyes – these are natural, good signs.

How Is It Different From White Vinegar?

Regular white or brown vinegar does not contain any of the health-promoting properties that are found in apple cider vinegar.

This type of vinegar has been put through rigorous distilling and processing and in the process all of its nutrients are stripped away.

Raw organic ACV is made up of living bacteria that is beneficial to health.

If you don’t see the cobweb like substance in the bottle, don’t expect the vinegar to provide any therapeutic value. Remember, look for the mother.

AVC has hundreds of uses and its versatility its legendary as a powerful household cleansing and deodorizing agent free of dangerous chemicals.

Most people purchase vinegar for flavoring, also for pickling and marinating their foods. Some women use it to rinse their hair after shampooing, as it leaves it squeaky clean, softer and much easier to manage.

ACV is also a great germ fighter in the home, lab, etc. Some mix it with water to wash windows, as it removes sludge and keeps them sparkling clean, as it does for the body.
