To be considered a non comedogenic oil, an oil must be rated 2 or lower.

If you use an oil with a high comedogenic rating (3-5) on your oily skin, your pores will become blocked with excess oils leading to breakouts.

A lot of these oils are great to use for the Oil Cleansing Method (OCM).

Comedogenic Rating Scale

0 – Will Not Clog Pores

1 – Low

2 – Moderately Low

3 – Moderate

4 – Fairly High

5 – High
