There will always be more stubborn scars or those that are too old to fade away for good. But not to worry, scars usually take up to 2 years to complete the regeneration process. So, what you would consider old scars can still be treated!
Old and New SCARS BLEND
by Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D.
1 ml = 30 drops of Helichrysum italicum oil
15 ml = 1 tablespoon of Rosehip Seed oil (this can be measured roughly by using an empty 15 ml bottle)
Oils are placed in a 4 ounce or 100 ml bottle, which is then filled up with base oil of choice, such as Jojoba oil.
The synergy between the omega 3 fatty acids of the Rosehip Seed oil and the terpenoids (antibacterial and antifungal activities) of the Helichrysum essential oil is fairly miraculous.
Even very old scars gradually disappear as this blend is applied to the scar tissue for 1 to 6 months, 2 to 3 times per day.
To get 1 Liter of Helichrysum essential oil, it takes between 700 kilos and a ton of flowers! This is the main reason why this oil is rather expensive.
The good part is that it is so concentrated and potent that you only need to use a few drops at a time. That way you can use it for a long time, especially since it’s also very resistant (up to 7 years). The optimal storage conditions need to be dark, dry and cool.
Nature’s Gift offers already made blend: Helichrysum, Corsican, 5% Dilution in Rose Hip Seed Oil, scar healing synergy.
